We worship every Sunday morning at 10:30am.  Our worship includes a mix of traditional and contemporary music.  We also read scripture and listen to a message based on that scripture.  We pray together and take an offering that supports our church’s ministries.

The central act of worship is Communion.  We gather around the table to remember the grace and love of God revealed to us in the life of Jesus Christ and to celebrate his presence among us.

We practice “believers baptism,” meaning that we baptize those who have reached an age when they feel able to make a commitment to be a follower of Jesus Christ.

Every Sunday we provide a staffed Nursery for children under age 3.  Activity bags are also provided in the narthex (lobby) for the children to play with during the service—the sounds of children are welcome in our worship!

September  through early June, our Children Worship and Wonder ministry takes place during worship time.  Every Sunday children, age 3 years through second grade, are invited to take part in Children Worship and Wonder during worship time. This ministry provides an opportunity for children to learn the stories of the Christian faith in fun and imaginative ways.  Following Children’s Time, children are escorted by the greeter to their worship center, located in the north wing of the building.  Children will be brought down to the fellowship hall at the end of worship to reunite with their parents.

Youth grades 3 to 6 gather in the Tower Classroom for lessons and activities.  They leave the service with the assigned “Youth Mentor” after the scripture reading and return for communion.

Many of us are involved in projects and programs that serve our wider community and those who are in need. These programs include the Ballard Food Bank and Sunday Night Dinners.

In partnership with Ballard First Lutheran and St. Paul's United Church of Christ, we provide dinner every first Sunday of the month to our homeless neighbors in Ballard.

You are welcome to be a part of these volunteer opportunities.  Feel free to contact the church for more details.

Once a month, Covenant Discipleship Groups meet for the purpose of strengthening personal connections and faith commitment through prayer, Bible study, mutual support, and the practice of spiritual disciplines.

Pastor Monica offers courses for those who are new to the Church and for youth & adults considering baptism.  Also she occasionally offers classes based on a particular interest or current events.
