NWCC has teamed up with St. Paul's UCC to provide hot meals on Sunday evenings to those who need it in the community at Ballard First Lutheran Church. We will host the first Sunday of every month (plus an occasional other Sunday), alternating set up and clean up duties with St. Paul.
March 4th - Cooking and set up 2:30 PM
April 1st (Easter) - Clean up, from 4:50 - 7:30 PM
May 6th - Cooking and set up 2:30 PM
June 3rd - Clean up, from 4:50 - 7:30 PM
July 1st - Cooking and set up 2:30 PM
July 29 ( Fifth Sunday) - Clean up, from 4:50 - 7:30 PM
August 5 - Cooking and set up 2:30 PM
September 2nd - Clean up, from 4:50 - 7:30 PM
October 7th - Cooking and set up 2:30 PM
November 4th - Clean up, from 4:50 - 7:30 PM

*Ballard Food Bank
The Ballard Food Bank is looking for volunteers to work afternoon shifts on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Drivers are also needed every day except Sundays. For a volunteer application, please contact the church office.

Staff from the Nyer Urness House in Ballard have contacted us about some exciting volunteer opportunities for individuals and families. Ideas include preparing and serving meals, hosting a cookout, hosting a movie night and more! If you are interested in these opportunities, please contact Pastor Monica for details. Nyer Urness is a ministry of Compass Housing Alliance and provides permanent housing for our formerly-homeless neighbors.
